Macon-East Montgomery Academy Knights (Cecil, AL) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Abbeville Christian Academy Generals (Abbeville, AL), 61-39 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Macon-East Montgomery Academy upgrades its record to 9-6 on the year. The Knights travel to Springwood (Lanett, AL) to face the Wildcats in a AISA AA Region 1 match on Tuesday, January 21. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 14-0.

The Generals now sport a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hooper Academy for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. Abbeville Christian Academy will face a Colts squad coming off a 49-26 league loss to Evangel Christian Academy (Montgomery, AL). The Colts record now stands at 6-3.
