January 16, 2025: Ankeny, IA 50023 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Ankeny Christian Academy (Ankeny, IA) and the visiting Murray Mustangs (Murray, IA), observed Ankeny Christian Academy's basketball team overwhelm Murray by a margin of 50-13.
The (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lamoni (Lamoni, IA). The Demons come into the Bluegrass challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Lamoni was trounced by Melcher-Dallas (Melcher, IA), 45-42, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Moravia Mohawks (Moravia, IA) in a Bluegrass challenge, on Friday, January 17. Murray will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Mohawks come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 59-37 non-league win over New London (New London, IA).
