January 16, 2025: Treynor, IA 51575 The Treynor Cardinals (Treynor, IA) basketball crushed the visiting Martensdale-St. Mary's Blue Devils (Martensdale, IA), 63-30 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Cardinals now possess a 10-1 record. They play next when they travel to Underwood for a Western Iowa bout on Tuesday, January 21. Treynor will play a Eagles team coming off a 33-30 league loss to AHSTW (Avoca, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-7.
With the loss, Martensdale-St. Mary's falls to 11-4 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to East Union (Afton, IA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, January 17.
