January 16, 2025: Grants, NM 87020 The Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM) basketball edged the host Grants Pirates (Grants, NM), 42-41 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Sundevils now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Fe for a non-league bout on Monday, January 20. Espanola Valley will play a Demons team coming off a 42-14 non-league win over St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM). The Demons record now stands at 7-4.
With the loss, Grants falls to 8-2 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Gallup (Gallup, NM) to play the Bengals in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. The Bengals go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Gallup won 56-22 in their recent non-league bout against Belen (Belen, NM)
