Massachusetts High School Ice Hockey - Pope Francis Prep knocks off Malden Catholic
January 16, 2025: Malden, MA 02148 In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Pope Francis Prep Cardinals ice hockey team scored a close 8-1 triumph over the Malden Catholic Lancers.
The Cardinals (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Reading Memorial (Reading, MA). The Rockets come into the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Reading Memorial got by Winchester (Winchester, MA), 3-0, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Lancers battle the St. John's Pioneers (Shrewsbury, MA) in a contest, on Sunday, January 19. Malden Catholic will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record. The Pioneers come into the contest with a 5-1 record after their 4-2 league loss to St. John's Prep (Danvers, MA).
