January 16, 2025: Teachey, NC 28464 The East Duplin Panthers (Beulaville, NC) basketball edged the host Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC), 44-42 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 12-1 record. They play next when they travel to Clinton for a non-league bout on Monday, January 20. East Duplin will play a Dark Horses team coming off a 30-25 non-league win over Red Springs (Red Springs, NC). The Dark Horses record now stands at 5-7.
With the loss, Wallace-Rose Hill falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to James Kenan (Warsaw, NC) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 22. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-3.
