Illinois High School Basketball - Triad routs Waterloo

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Triad Knights basketball team scored a big 53-17 triumph over the Waterloo Bulldogs.

The Knights (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Father McGivney Catholic (Glen Carbon, IL). The Griffins go into the non-league contest with a 12-8 record. In their last contest, Father McGivney Catholic was trounced by Althoff Catholic (Belleville, IL), 45-28, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Nashville Hornets (Nashville, IL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 19. Waterloo will attempt to better on its 4-15 season record. The Hornets go into the contest with a 16-2 record after their 53-43 non-league win over St. Anthony (Effingham, IL).
