California High School Basketball - Antelope Valley over St. Monica Academy
January 17, 2022: Montrose, CA 91020 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Antelope Valley Antelopes (Lancaster, CA) and the host St. Monica Academy Crusaders (Montrose, CA), saw Antelope Valley's basketball squad overcome St. Monica Academy by a tally of 61-47.
With the victory, Antelope Valley improves its record to 8-14 on the campaign. The Antelopes travel to Eastside (Lancaster, CA) to confront the Lions in a Golden challenge on Wednesday, January 19. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 6-6. Eastside won 62-50 in their recent league challenge against Lancaster (Lancaster, CA)
Next up, the Crusaders confront the Faith Baptist Contenders (Canoga Park, CA) in a Heritage challenge, on Wednesday, January 19. St. Monica Academy will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record. The Contenders come into the challenge with a 10-10 record after their 68-24 league win over Desert Christian (Lancaster, CA).
