Washington High School Basketball - Glacier Peak winner over Sumner
January 17, 2022: Snohomish, WA 98296 The Glacier Peak Grizzlies (Snohomish, WA) basketball felled the visiting Sumner Spartans (Sumner, WA), 56-41 in Monday's non-league test.
The Grizzlies (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Lake Stevens (Lake Stevens, WA). The Vikings go into the 4A Wesco test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Lake Stevens was beaten by Lynden (Lynden, WA), 75-58, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Bethel for a 4A South Puget Sound test on Tuesday, January 18. Sumner will encounter a Bison squad coming off a 71-27 league loss to Bellarmine Prep (Tacoma, WA). The Bison record now stands at 0-9.
