Kansas High School Basketball - Marysville can't hold off Hiawatha
January 17, 2022: Hiawatha, KS 66434 The Hiawatha Red Hawks basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Marysville Bulldogs to 61 in the Red Hawks non-league victory on Monday.
The Red Hawks now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nemaha Central for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 20. Hiawatha will battle a Thunder team coming off a 55-52 non-league win over Marysville (Marysville, KS). The Thunder record now stands at 9-1.
The Bulldogs (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Nemaha Central (Seneca, KS). The Thunder come into the non-league contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Nemaha Central edged Jefferson West (Meriden, KS), 55-41, in a non-league contest.
