Illinois High School Basketball - Hyde Park crushes Lincoln Park
January 17, 2022: Chicago, IL 60637 Hyde Park Thunderbirds (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lincoln Park Lions (Chicago, IL), 78-51 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hyde Park upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Thunderbirds host Curie (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Condors in a Chicago Public - Red South bout on Tuesday, January 18. The Condors go into the bout with a record of 17-2. Curie won 65-61 in their recent non-league bout against Joliet West (Joliet, IL)
Next up, the Lions clash with the Chicago Marshall Commandos (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public - Red Northwest contest, on Wednesday, January 19. Lincoln Park will attempt to better on its 10-8 season record. The Commandos enter the contest with a 1-9 record after their 58-50 league loss to Farragut (Chicago, IL).
