Illinois High School Basketball - Latin knocked off by Niles West
January 17, 2022: Chicago, IL 60610 The Niles West Wolves basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Latin Romans to 43 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Monday.
The Wolves now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Trier for a Central Suburban - South contest on Wednesday, January 19. Niles West will battle a Trevians team coming off a 65-37 non-league win over Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL). The Trevians record now stands at 15-2.
The Romans (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Northridge (Niles, IL). The Knights enter the Independent School contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Northridge was defeated by Westinghouse (Chicago, IL), 52-38, in a non-league contest.
