January 17, 2022: Belleville, IL 62223 The Belleville West Maroons (Belleville, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Salem Wildcats (Salem, IL), 61-31 in Monday's non-league test.
The Maroons (6-9) will now prepare for their test against Collinsville (Collinsville, IL). The Kahoks go into the non-league test with a 12-11 record. In their last test, Collinsville walloped Hillsboro (Hillsboro, IL), 54-42, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 4-14 record. They play next when they travel to Centralia for a non-league test on Monday, January 24. Salem will encounter a Orphans squad coming off a 53-22 non-league win over Greenville (Greenville, IL). The Orphans record now stands at 13-6.
