January 17, 2022: Rock Island, IL 61201 The Rock Island Rocks (Rock Island, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL), 51-36 in Monday's non-league test.
The Rocks (13-9) will now prepare for their test against Moline (Moline, IL). The Maroons go into the Western Big 6 test with a 12-10 record. In their last test, Moline went down by Normal Community (Normal, IL), 64-42, in a non-league test.
The Kays now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they host Thornridge for a Southland test on Thursday, January 20.
