Ohio High School Basketball - Spencerville overwhelms Lima Central Catholic
January 17, 2022: Spencerville, OH 45887 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Spencerville Bearcats (Spencerville, OH) and the visiting Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds (Lima, OH), saw Spencerville's basketball squad wallop Lima Central Catholic by a tally of 61-31.
With the victory, Spencerville improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Allen East (Harrod, OH) to confront the Mustangs in a Northwest challenge on Thursday, February 3. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 8-6.
Next up, the Thunderbirds confront the Lima Senior Spartans (Lima, OH) in a Freelance challenge, on Tuesday, January 18. Lima Central Catholic will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 70-31 league loss to Central Catholic (Toledo, OH).
