Cisco Loboes (Cisco, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Albany Lions (Albany, TX), 65-51 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cisco upgrades its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Loboes travel to Stamford (Stamford, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 2A Region II District 10 bout on Friday, January 20. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 5-9. Stamford won 54-42 in their recent league bout against Anson (Anson, TX)

Next up, the Lions play the Hawley Bearcats (Hawley, TX) in a 2A Region II District 10 bout, on Friday, January 20. Albany will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record.
