Oklahoma High School Basketball - Weatherford overwhelms Altus
January 17, 2023: Altus, OK 73521 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Weatherford Eagles (Weatherford, OK) and the host Altus Bulldogs (Altus, OK), saw Weatherford's basketball squad wallop Altus by a tally of 88-42.
With the victory, Weatherford improves its record to 13-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Elgin (Elgin, OK) to play the Owls in a Western - South challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Owls come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Elgin won 56-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Clinton (Clinton, OK)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the MacArthur Highlanders (Lawton, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Altus will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 89-53 non-league loss to Lawton (Lawton, OK).
