The Ames Little Cyclones basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Des Moines North Polar Bears to 34 in the Little Cyclones non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Little Cyclones now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Dodge for a Central Iowa Metro - North contest on Friday, January 20. Ames will battle a Dodgers team coming off a 83-39 non-league loss to Roosevelt (Des Moines, IA). The Dodgers record now stands at 1-8.
