January 17, 2023: Newark, NJ 07102 The East Side Red Raiders basketball team (Newark, NJ), was overwhelmed 76-41 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Arts Jaguars (Newark, NJ)
The Jaguars now possess a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Orange Campus for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 19. Arts will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 56-52 league loss to Seton Hall Prep (West Orange, NJ). The Jaguars record now stands at 7-8.
The Red Raiders (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Immaculate Conception (Montclair, NJ). The Lions come into the Super Essex - American battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Immaculate Conception trounced West Side (Newark, NJ), 67-45, in a league battle.
