Ohio High School Basketball - Chaney sneaks past Hoover

January 17, 2023: Youngstown, OH 44509

In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Chaney Cowboys basketball team scored a tight 51-48 triumph over the Hoover Vikings.

In their next game, the Cowboys meet the Grand River Academy (Austinburg, OH) in a non-league match, on Monday, January 23. Chaney will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record.

With the defeat, Hoover moves to 6-7 on the year. The Vikings host Jackson (Massillon, OH) to meet the Polar Bears in a Federal match on Friday, January 20. The Polar Bears enter the match with a record of 9-4. Jackson won 68-24 in their recent non-league match against Woodward (Toledo, OH)
