January 17, 2023: Stewart, OH 45778 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Federal Hocking Lancers (Stewart, OH) and the visiting Vinton County Vikings (McArthur, OH), saw Federal Hocking's basketball squad overcome Vinton County by a tally of 72-60.
With the victory, Federal Hocking improves its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Lancers host South Gallia (Crown City, OH) to confront the Rebels in a Tri-Valley II challenge on Friday, January 20. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 6-6. South Gallia won 69-61 in their recent non-league challenge against River Valley (Bidwell, OH)
Next up, the Vikings confront the Alexander Spartans (Albany, OH) in a Tri-Valley I challenge, on Friday, January 20. Vinton County will attempt to improve on its 9-3 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 64-40 non-league loss to Jackson (Jackson, OH).
