Washington High School Basketball - Goldendale holds off Walla Walla Valley Academy
January 17, 2023: Goldendale, WA 98620 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Goldendale Timberwolves (Goldendale, WA) and the visiting Walla Walla Valley Academy Knights (College Place, WA), saw Goldendale's basketball squad hold off Walla Walla Valley Academy by a tally of 48-44.
With the victory, Goldendale improves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Timberwolves host Granger (Granger, WA) to confront the Spartans in a 2B Eastern Washington - West challenge on Friday, January 20. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 0-14. Granger lost 53-42 in their recent league challenge against Highland (Cowiche, WA)
Next up, the Knights confront the Warden Cougars (Warden, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Walla Walla Valley Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 40-33 league win over River View (Kennewick, WA).
