The Johnson Atomsmashers (Savannah, GA) basketball knocked off the visiting Groves Rebels (Garden City, GA), 79-60 in Tuesday's league test.

The Atomsmashers (14-4) will now prepare for their test against Savannah Country Day (Savannah, GA). The Hornets go into the AAA Region 3 test with a 6-9 record.

The Rebels now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they host Long County for a AAA Region 3 test on Friday, January 20. Groves will battle a Blue Tide team coming off a 55-54 league win over Liberty County (Hinesville, GA). The Blue Tide record now stands at 9-8.
