Tennessee High School Basketball - Peabody nips Humboldt
January 17, 2023: Trenton, TN 38382 Peabody Golden Tide (Trenton, TN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Humboldt Vikings (Humboldt, TN), 63-59 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Peabody upgrades its record to 3-9 on the season. The Golden Tide host Middleton (Middleton, TN) to play the Tigers in a 1A District 14 bout on Friday, January 20. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 13-1. Middleton won 53-22 in their recent league bout against Jackson Central Merry (Jackson, TN)
Next up, the Vikings play the Lake County Falcons (Tiptonville, TN) in a 1A District 14 bout, on Friday, January 20. Humboldt will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 56-37 league win over Halls (Halls, TN).
