Maryland High School Basketball - St. James trounced by Mercersburg Academy
January 17, 2023: Hagerstown, MD 21740 In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Mercersburg Academy Blue Storm basketball team scored a decisive 79-53 triumph over the St. James Saints.
In their next game, the Blue Storm meet the Hill School Rams (Pottstown, PA) in a Mid-Atlantic Prep A match, on Saturday, January 21. Mercersburg Academy will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Rams enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 57-50 league win over Blair Academy (Blairstown, NJ).
With the defeat, St. James moves to 2-9 on the year. The Saints host St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD) to meet the Lions in a Mid-Atlantic match on Thursday, January 19. The Lions enter the match with a record of 12-3. St. Andrew's Episcopal won 75-58 in their recent non-league match against Flint Hill (Oakton, VA)
