Vermont High School Basketball - White River Valley overwhelms Mill River
January 17, 2023: North Clarendon, VT 05759 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the White River Valley Wildcats (Royalton, VT) and the host Mill River Minutemen (North Clarendon, VT), saw White River Valley's basketball squad wallop Mill River by a tally of 66-31.
With the victory, White River Valley improves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Leland & Gray (Townshend, VT) to play the Rebels in a Southern Vermont - C challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 5-4.
Next up, the Minutemen play the Bellows Falls Terriers (Bellows Falls, VT) in a Southern Vermont - C challenge, on Friday, January 20. Mill River will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Terriers come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 70-40 league win over Leland & Gray (Townshend, VT).
