Ohio High School Basketball - Minford nips Valley
January 17, 2023: Lucasville, OH 45648 Minford Falcons (Minford, OH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Valley Indians (Lucasville, OH), 71-66 in a league bout.
With the victory, Minford upgrades its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Falcons host Waverly (Waverly, OH) to play the Tigers in a Southern Ohio II bout on Friday, January 20. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 1-14. Waverly lost 56-33 in their recent league bout against Northwest (McDermott, OH)
Next up, the Indians play the South Webster Jeeps (South Webster, OH) in a Southern Ohio II bout, on Friday, January 20. Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Jeeps come into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 60-53 league loss to Wheelersburg (Wheelersburg, OH).
