The Thomas MacLaren School Highlanders (Colorado Springs, CO) basketball nipped the visiting Pikes Peak Christian Eagles (Colorado Springs, CO), 71-66 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Highlanders (4-7) will now prepare for their test against Fountain Valley (Colorado Springs, CO). The Danes go into the 3A Black Forest test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Fountain Valley got by Dolores Huerta Prep (Pueblo, CO), 43-37, in a non-league test.
