The Pinecrest Patriots topped the visiting Union Pines Vikings basketball team by a final score of 68-51 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC) in a 3A/4A Conference 24 game, on Tuesday, January 24. Pinecrest will attempt to move on its 10-6 season record.

With the defeat, Union Pines moves to 8-8 on the year. The Vikings host Lee County (Sanford, NC) to face the Yellow Jackets in a 3A/4A Conference 24 game on Friday, January 20.
