January 17, 2023: Wilmington, NC 28405 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Wilmington Christian Academy Patriots (Wilmington, NC) and the visiting Southside Christian Warriors (Clayton, NC), saw Wilmington Christian Academy's basketball squad hold off Southside Christian by a tally of 58-51.
With the victory, Wilmington Christian Academy improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Patriots host Greenville Christian Academy (Greenville, NC) to play the Knights in a NCCSA AA East Region 3 challenge on Friday, January 20. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Greenville Christian Academy lost 67-31 in their recent league challenge against Wilson Christian Academy (Wilson, NC)
Next up, the Warriors play the Bethel Christian Academy Trojans (Kinston, NC) in a NCCSA AA East Region 4 challenge, on Friday, January 20. Southside Christian will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 5-13 record after their 67-50 non-league loss to Community Christian (Wilson, NC).
