Oklahoma High School Basketball - Strother nips Warner
January 17, 2023: Warner, OK 74469 Strother Yellowjackets (Seminole, OK) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Warner Eagles (Warner, OK), 48-44 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Strother upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Wewoka (Wewoka, OK) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 20. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 1-14. Wewoka lost 72-30 in their recent non-league bout against Allen (Allen, OK)
Next up, the Eagles play the Crowder Demons (Crowder, OK) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Warner will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Demons come into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 67-55 non-league loss to Wetumka (Wetumka, OK).
