Wisconsin High School Basketball - Loyal knocked off by Alma Center Lincoln
January 17, 2023: Alma Center, WI 54611 The Alma Center Lincoln Hornets basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting Loyal Greyhounds to 27 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blair-Taylor for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 19. Alma Center Lincoln will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 74-39 league win over Augusta (Augusta, WI). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-0.
The Greyhounds (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Greenwood (Greenwood, WI). The Indians enter the Cloverbelt - East contest with a 3-14 record. In their last contest, Greenwood was defeated by Pacelli (Stevens Point, WI), 58-36, in a non-league contest.
