North Carolina High School Basketball - Highland Tech crushes Bradford Prep

January 17, 2023: Gastonia, NC 28052

Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bradford Prep Bears (Charlotte, NC), 47-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Highland Tech upgrades its record to 5-10 on the season. The Rams host East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC) to play the Warriors in a 1A/2A Conference 40 bout on Friday, January 20. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-12. East Gaston won 53-37 in their recent league bout against Cherryville (Cherryville, NC)

Next up, the Bears play the Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC) in a 1A/2A Conference 39 bout, on Wednesday, January 18. Bradford Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 13-4 record after their 37-31 league win over Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC).
