California High School Basketball - El Capitan trounces Central Valley

January 17, 2023: Merced, CA 95348

The El Capitan Gauchos (Merced, CA) basketball crushed the visiting Central Valley Hawks (Ceres, CA), 61-6 in Tuesday's league test.

The Gauchos (15-5) will now prepare for their test against Merced (Merced, CA). The Bears go into the Central California Conference test with a 9-8 record.

The Hawks now sport a 1-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Patterson for a Central California Conference contest on Thursday, January 19. Central Valley will battle a Tigers team coming off a 45-34 league win over Golden Valley (Merced, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 14-5.
