New Jersey High School Basketball - Ridgewood tops DePaul Catholic
January 17, 2023: Wayne, NJ 07470 Ridgewood Maroons (Ridgewood, NJ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host DePaul Catholic Spartans (Wayne, NJ), 43-25 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Ridgewood upgrades its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Maroons travel to Passaic (Passaic, NJ) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 19. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 4-6. Passaic won 52-11 in their recent league bout against Bergen Tech (Hackensack, NJ)
Next up, the Spartans play the Passaic Valley Hornets (Little Falls, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. DePaul Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 48-35 league loss to Lakeland Regional (Wanaque, NJ).
