Ohio High School Basketball - Edison succumbs to Western Reserve
January 17, 2023: Collins, OH 44826 The Western Reserve Roughriders topped the visiting Edison Chargers basketball team by a final score of 54-39 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Roughriders face the St. Paul Flyers (Norwalk, OH) in a Firelands game, on Thursday, January 19. Western Reserve will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Flyers enter the game with a 0-8 record after their 54-22 league loss to New London (New London, OH).
With the defeat, Edison moves to 3-11 on the year. The Chargers travel to Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, OH) to face the Rockets in a Sandusky Bay - Bay game on Saturday, January 21. The Rockets enter the game with a record of 3-10. Oak Harbor lost 52-24 in their recent non-league game against Lakota (Kansas, OH)
