In Tuesday's league outing, the McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA) basketball squad beat the visiting Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA), by a count of 51-41.

The Highlanders (7-7) will now prepare for their outing against George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA). The Statesmen go into the District 2 outing with a 6-10 record. In their last outing, George C. Marshall was topped by Langley (McLean, VA), 41-27, in a league outing.
