Oregon High School Basketball - North Douglas overwhelms Mohawk
January 17, 2023: Drain, OR 97435 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the North Douglas (Drain, OR) and the visiting Mohawk Mustangs (Marcola, OR), saw North Douglas's basketball squad wallop Mohawk by a tally of 59-16.
With the victory, North Douglas improves its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The host Powers (Powers, OR) to confront the Cruisers in a 1A Skyline challenge on Friday, January 20. The Cruisers come into the challenge with a record of 7-1. Powers won 45-39 in their recent league challenge against New Hope Christian (Grants Pass, OR)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Alsea Wolverines (Alsea, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Mohawk will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record.
