Indiana High School Basketball - Southridge holds off Wood Memorial
January 17, 2023: Oakland City, IN 47660 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Southridge Raiders (Huntingburg, IN) and the host Wood Memorial Trojans (Oakland City, IN), saw Southridge's basketball squad hold off Wood Memorial by a tally of 37-30.
With the victory, Southridge improves its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Raiders host Gibson Southern (Fort Branch, IN) to confront the Titans in a Pocket challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 16-4. Gibson Southern won 60-34 in their recent league challenge against Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN)
Next up, the Trojans confront the North Posey Vikings (Poseyville, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Wood Memorial will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 42-39 league loss to Princeton (Princeton, IN).
