January 17, 2023: Richmond, VA 23227 John Marshall Justices (Richmond, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting J.R. Tucker Tigers (Henrico, VA), 38-23 in a non-league bout.
With the win, John Marshall upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Justices host Petersburg (Petersburg, VA) to clash with the Crimson Wave in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Crimson Wave go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Petersburg won 41-30 in their recent non-league bout against Prince George (Prince George, VA)
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Atlee Raiders (Mechanicsville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 18. J.R. Tucker will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 12-5 record after their 66-49 non-league win over Armstrong (Richmond, VA).
