In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Richmond Raiders basketball team scored a good 54-44 triumph over the Scotland Fighting Scots.

In their next game, the Raiders meet the Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 20. Richmond will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Cavaliers enter the match with a 7-1 record after their 52-41 non-league win over Union Pines (Cameron, NC).

With the defeat, Scotland moves to 9-3 on the year. The Fighting scots host Hoke County (Raeford, NC) to meet the Bucks in a non-league match on Friday, January 20. The Bucks enter the match with a record of 3-8. Hoke County lost 61-55 in their recent non-league match against Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC)
