Utah High School Basketball - Valley can't hold off Bryce Valley
January 17, 2024: Orderville, UT 84758 The Bryce Valley Mustangs basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Valley Buffalos to 48 in the Mustangs league triumph on Wednesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Piute for a 1A Region 20 contest on Friday, January 19. Bryce Valley will battle a Thunderbirds team coming off a 56-42 league loss to Panguitch (Panguitch, UT). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 11-3.
The Buffalos (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Wayne (Bicknell, UT). The Badgers enter the 1A Region 20 match with a 9-8 record. In their last match, Wayne tipped Escalante (Escalante, UT), 56-44, in a league match.
