January 17, 2024: Manchester, CT 06040 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Conard Red Wolves (West Hartford, CT) and the host Manchester Red Hawks (Manchester, CT), saw Conard's basketball squad hold off Manchester by a count of 60-58.
With the victory, Conard upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Red Wolves travel to Northwest Catholic (West Hartford, CT) to play the Lions in a Central Connecticut - West Colonial challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 9-1.
Next up, the Red Hawks play the Windham Whippets (Willimantic, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 19. Manchester will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Whippets come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 79-55 non-league win over Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT).
