January 17, 2024: Walkersville, MD 21793 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Walkersville Lions (Walkersville, MD) and the visiting Governor Thomas Johnson Patriots (Frederick, MD), saw Walkersville's basketball squad wallop Governor Thomas Johnson by a tally of 65-43.
With the victory, Walkersville improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Middletown (Middletown, MD) to confront the Knights in a CMC challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 12-0.
Next up, the Patriots confront the Oakdale (Ijamsville, MD) in a CMC challenge, on Friday, January 19. Governor Thomas Johnson will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record.
