Missouri High School Basketball - Washington tops Ruskin
January 17, 2024: Kansas City, MO 64134 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Washington Bluejays (Washington, MO) and the host Ruskin Golden Eagles (Kansas City, MO), saw Washington's basketball squad knock off Ruskin by a count of 67-51.
With the victory, Washington upgrades its record to 8-12 on the campaign. The Bluejays travel to Pacific (Pacific, MO) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 17. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Pacific lost 54-41 in their recent league challenge against Owensville (Owensville, MO)
Next up, the Golden Eagles play the St. Michael the Archangel Guardians (Lee's Summit, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 19. Ruskin will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Guardians come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 59-43 non-league loss to Raytown (Raytown, MO).
