Blackstone Valley RVT Beavers (Upton, MA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Auburn Rockets (Auburn, MA), 59-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Blackstone Valley RVT upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Beavers travel to Worcester Tech (Worcester, MA) to play the Eagles in a Colonial bout on Friday, January 19. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 0-4.

Next up, the Rockets play the Tantasqua Regional Warriors (Fiskdale, MA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Auburn will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record.
