New York High School Basketball - Catskill over Ichabod Crane
January 17, 2024: Catskill, NY 12414 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Catskill Cats (Catskill, NY) and the visiting Ichabod Crane Riders (Valatie, NY), saw Catskill's basketball squad overcome Ichabod Crane by a tally of 54-43.
With the victory, Catskill improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Cats travel to Watervliet (Watervliet, NY) to play the Cannoneers in a Section 2 Patroon challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Cannoneers come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Watervliet won 53-27 in their recent league challenge against Taconic Hills (Craryville, NY)
Next up, the Riders play the Cohoes Tigers (Cohoes, NY) in a Section 2 Colonial challenge, on Friday, January 19. Ichabod Crane will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-11 record after their 71-48 league loss to Schalmont (Schenectady, NY).
