Michigan High School Basketball - Durand thwarts Fenton
January 17, 2024: Fenton, MI 48430 The Durand Railroaders (Durand, MI) basketball knocked off the host Fenton Tigers (Fenton, MI), 55-41 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Railroaders (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Chesaning (Chesaning, MI). The Indians go into the Mid-Michigan test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Chesaning went down by Hill-McCloy (Montrose, MI), 48-38, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 0-10 record. They play next when they host Linden for a Flint Metro test on Friday, January 19. Fenton will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 64-47 league win over Brandon (Ortonville, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 7-3.
