Colorado High School Basketball - Sand Creek topped by Sierra

The Sierra Stallions basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Sand Creek Scorpions to 31 in the Stallions league victory on Wednesday.

The Stallions now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pueblo Centennial for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. Sierra will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 29-18 league win over Pueblo South (Pueblo, CO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-7.

The Scorpions (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Mesa Ridge (Colorado Springs, CO). The Grizzlies come into the non-league contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Mesa Ridge was defeated by Palmer (Colorado Springs, CO), 45-32, in a league contest.
