Virginia High School Basketball - Meridian tops Osbourn Park
January 17, 2024: Manassas, VA 20111 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) and the host Osbourn Park Yellowjackets (Manassas, VA), saw Meridian's basketball squad knock off Osbourn Park by a tally of 54-43.
With the victory, Meridian improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Liberty (Bealeton, VA) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-3.
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Battlefield Bobcats (Haymarket, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 22. Osbourn Park will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 62-21 non-league win over Unity Reed (Manassas, VA).
